Steve Ledford
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ledford is responsible for the day-to-day operational affairs of the corporation. He has over 25 years of experience in the wired, wireless, and semiconductor networking industry. Prior to joining AccessOn Networks, he held software engineering/executive positions for several technology companies including IBM, LVL7 Systems, and Broadcom. Mr. Ledford holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
Erik Dixon
Strategic Advisor – Business Development
Mr. Dixon has over three decades of business and product development experience in the networking equipment industry, both with end products and software/semiconductor technology. He spent over 10 years as a Vice President and General Manager at Broadcom Limited, was the CEO of a networking software company (LVL7 Systems, Inc) acquired by Broadcom, and ran an engineering operation in IBM Corporation’s networking edge product group. Mr. Dixon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Tim Piltz
Business Operation Analyst
Mr. Piltz is responsible for the accounting and operations of AccessOn Networks. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Piltz has experience in emergency services, operations, and accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Fayetteville State University.
Kyle Herrin
Network Engineer
Mr. Herrin is focused on the support and maintenance of the AccessOn network. Mr. Herrin has experience in end user technical support, installing/maintaining network systems, and electrical systems. He has an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science from Coastal Pines Technical College.
Kyle Zolner
Technical Program Manager
Mr. Zolner is responsible for managing the buildout of fiber networks and delivering broadband service to residences and businesses in rural North Carolina. Prior to joining AccessOn Networks, Mr. Zolner developed user generated online review strategies, systems and analytics as a leader at Zagat Survey and Google Maps. He holds degrees in engineering, liberal studies and marketing.
Jan Harris
Site Manager
Ms. Harris leads AccessOn Internet bringing fiber Internet service to Warren and Halifax counties. Before joining the fiber Internet industry, she served as Vice President of Operations at her previous organization. As a Warrenton native, she understands the unique needs of rural residents and is passionate about expanding access to reliable, high-speed Internet and opening doors for education, business, and everyday life in the place she calls home. Ms. Harris holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Carolina State University and a Master’s of Education from North Carolina Central University.
